The Cabins & Lodges
"What a wonderful time we had staying at the log cabin. It is such a beautiful and peaceful setting and the cabin is so cosy we just didn't want to leave!
Our 3 nights at Cairngorm Lodges was certainly the highlight of our trip to Royal Deeside.
Our 5 luxury forest lodges are located in the heart of Royal Deeside and the Cairngorms. Sleeping up to 4 each, the lodges are set in an idyllic rural landscape full of country walks, historic sites and charming villages. Perfect for a family holiday, short break or romantic getaway.
All properties are furnished to a high standard and the four new lodges were opened in 2012 and all follow the same basic layout: a double and a twin bedroom, a bathroom with walk in shower, a fully fitted kitchen and a spacious lounge where you can relax in comfort with a homely wood burning stove. The stove provides the hot water which in turn provides the heat to a hot water circuit which circulates through the radiators in every room.
Everything you need to enjoy yourself is just outside your door and the surrounding area has some of Scotland’s most magnificent scenery. The landscape on the doorstep is just as spectacular with miles of forest walks, pretty streams and the Muir of Dinnet National Nature Reserve.
An abundant supply of logs are provided beside each lodge together with a barbeque for your use. Each lodge come with Free Sat TV and DVD player. The kitchen is equipped to a high standard with fridge and microwave.
Well behaved dogs are welcome and should you wish to bring your horse then we can, with plenty of notice, arrange a paddock.
On arrival you will be greeted by Carol. We can have a roaring fire on for you if you wish. Please telephone her in advance to inform her of your anticipated time of arrival. These details will be supplied with your booking confirmation. Carol will give you keys and show you how to operate the stove etc, and answer any of your questions.
Each Cabin and Lodge has its own off road parking adjacent to the Cabin or Lodge.
